These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LotChain website (lotchain.app) and the documentation products sold through it. By accessing the website or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.
Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using any LotChain documentation pack.
Nature of the Product
LotChain documentation packs are pre-structured document templates designed to assist businesses in establishing management systems that align with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.
The documents provided are templates only. They are not legal advice, professional compliance advice, or a guarantee of ISO certification. LotChain is not a registered ISO certification body and does not offer certification services. Certification against any ISO standard requires a formal third-party audit conducted by an accredited certification body.
The templates are provided to assist you in building and implementing a management system. The suitability of any document for your specific business circumstances is your responsibility to assess.
Permitted Use
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased documentation pack for your own internal business purposes. Permitted use includes:
- Customising and implementing the documents within your own organisation
- Submitting customised versions as part of tenders, audits, or client submissions
- Retaining and updating documents as part of your ongoing management system
Permitted use does not include:
- Reselling, sublicensing, or distributing the original or lightly modified templates to third parties for commercial purposes
- Using the templates to create a competing documentation product or service
- Sharing the original template files with parties outside your organisation without prior written consent from LotChain
No Resale Without Permission
You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense LotChain documentation packs or the underlying template content to third parties without express written permission from LotChain. If you are a consultant or service provider seeking to use LotChain materials as part of client engagements, please contact us to discuss appropriate licensing arrangements.
Limitation of Liability
LotChain documentation packs are provided on an "as-is" basis. While we take care to ensure documents are structured to align with the referenced ISO standards, we make no warranty that:
- The documents will result in successful ISO certification
- The documents will satisfy the specific requirements of any particular client, auditor, or certifier
- The documents are free from errors or omissions
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LotChain's total liability to you for any claim arising out of your purchase or use of a documentation pack is limited to the amount you paid for that pack.
LotChain is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the documentation packs, including loss of contracts, loss of certification, or any other commercial loss.
Intellectual Property
All LotChain documentation packs and the content within them are the intellectual property of LotChain. The purchase of a pack grants you a licence to use the content as described above — it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property to you.
Changes to These Terms
LotChain reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page. Continued use of the website or any purchased products after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
